Interruption/Warp and Distortion

The work exhibited Interrupt the mind and social lenses encapsulating the modern world of the ‘Digital Natives’ illustrating how they can be consumed and absorded by the modern online relationship. Analyzing online Digital Stalking showing the feelings created from the digital relationships in the current online world. The work tries to emulate the process of this Digital Social Sphere though drawing and installations. During the research process the work reflects on images from Classicism and uses visual methaphors from the story of Hercules and Cacus the thief to symbolize the role of the stalker and the victim. The drawing technique incorporates the digital interruption created by modern app Glitche and digital banding created by printing corrupt and low resolution files.
