Rongorongo Tablets

A research project exploring Rongorongo, an undeciphered script originating from Easter Island. Inscribed into wooden tablets using shark’s teeth, it is written in a reverse-boustrophedon direction, alternating by 180 degrees with each line. The tactile method of rotating the object whilst reading it presents a parallel with the way we use digital tablets today.
